• Rule 4 of the Animal Care Review Board's Rules of Practice, available on the Board's website at https://tribunalsontario.ca/documents/acrb/ACRB Rules of Procedure - English.pdf, sets out the factors to be considered when an adjournment is requested. For more information on requesting an adjournment, please refer to the Board's Practice Direction on Adjournments.
• Please note that section 38.9 of the Provincial Animal Welfare Services Act sets out the Board's authority to order either party to pay the animal care costs. Any delay in holding the hearing may increase the care costs payable by either party.
